It’s important that you choose the right célébrant for your special ceremony, someone who you feel comfortable with. As an Authorised Civil Celebrant for the Bailiwick of Guernsey and fully trained in celebrancy, I aspire to be the’ Célébrant de Choix’ for clients who expect only the highest quality service for their special milestone event. From the moment of contact to the ceremony itself, through careful consultation in listening to your specific needs, it is my heart’s desire to guide and support you through crafting the most beautiful, meaningful and memorable ceremony that you will cherish forever.
What is a Civil Celebrant?
As of March 2021, The Marriage (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2020 came into effect. This means that you are able to be legally married by an Authorised Civil Celebrant. You can learn more about getting married in the Bailiwick here.
There is no doubt that Guernsey and the other islands of the Bailiwick are all amazing places to hold any ceremony and with the new marriage law, you can get married anywhere at any time! Choosing a celebrant to conduct your ceremony is an alternative to the more traditional ceremonies.
Civil Celebrants are also able to conduct funerals/celebration of life/memorials, naming/welcoming and renewal of vows/affirmation ceremonies.
